I am a big supporter of CBT and NLP therapy.  As our thoughts control what is going on in our mind and the feelings/emotions we have, any positive adjustment in this area would improve your life.  I understand that depression for those of us living with clinical depression is a chemical issue.  The upside potential to these therapy’s is that positive thoughts have been directly linked to increases in the chemicals in the human brain.  The positive thoughts may not be enough to correct the chemical issue but it can have a direct impact on the amount of medication you have to take.  Exercise is another factor that creates positive chemical’s in the brain and why it is usually prescribed by a physician as a first step in battling depression.  CBT & NLP can provide you a big step up in battling depression so if you truly want to get better don’t ignore these.
